NEP
NEP is a comprehensive framework to guide the development of education in our country.
The National Education Policy of India 2020, which was approved by the Union Cabinet of India on 29 July 2020, outlines the vision of new education system of India. The new policy replaces the previous National Policy on Education 1986.The policy aims to transform India's education system by 2040. It aims to increase the Gross Enrolment Ratio in higher education including vocational education from 26.3% (2018) to 50% by 2035.
The Government had initiated the process of formulating a New Education Policy through the consultation process for an inclusive, participatory and holistic approach, which takes into consideration expert opinions, field experiences, empirical research, stakeholder feedback, as well as lessons learned from best practices. The draft NEP is based on the foundational pillars access, affordability, equity, quality and accountability.
We have successfully implemented NEP in the year 2020-2021 in our institution keeping the vision of holistic development of our students.
