About Library
The Seshadripuram Institute of Commerce and Management college library was established in the year 2005. The library equipped with the best books, magazines, periodicals and journals. The library holds a hybrid collection of printed as well as electronic resources which include books, journals, e-books, e-journals, question banks, project reports, case studies, conference proceedings, course manuals and educational CD’s/DVD’s. Through the completely automated library management system, users can access the library resources without any hassle. Trained and committed library staff provide adequate support to the academic community.

- To provide information literacy to the faculties and students for effective use of information resources and services

Membership
- Only SICM students, faculty and Staff as registered members are allowed to use the SICM library.
- Members should produce their Library Membership card at the entrance of the library.
- A duplicate Library Membership card will be issued on payment of Rs.200/-

Circulation Rules
- Readers are responsible for books issued against their names.
- Library reserves the right to recall any issued book even before the due date.
- The materials such as rare books, thesis, Reports, dissertations, etc... shall be kept for reference and review shall not be issued
- Borrowers must satisfy about the physical condition of the books before borrowing otherwise they will be held responsible for any damage later or at the time of return.
Overdue Charges
- The overdue charges Rs.2/- per day.
- Membership shall be suspended for repeated delay in returning the books.

Department of Library organises visits to other libraries like IIM B Library, Karnataka State Public Library, Central Library etc to create awareness among the students about the various facilities and services offered in different library and enhance the reading habits among the students. |

Besides regular library services, we offer Book Banks to SC/ST students at the time of commencement of the semester and collect them back after the completion of semester for further circulation. |

Quiz is conducted using Google Forms to all the students to equip them with information related to banking, current affairs, General science etc that helps them for Competitive Examinations. E-Certificates are also issued to the students for the quiz attended. |

Book Exhibition is organised every year to stimulate interest among the students and staff. This fair provides a platform for different publishers to put up their stalls to stock up collections. Students and staff of our college actively take part in the exhibition. |

Students or faculty members willing to place requisition for books not available in the library can place request in the “Book Recommendation Record” maintained in the library with the library staff. |
